Chittaranjan Misra, poet, critic and translator has authored six anthologies of poems in Odia and one in English titled ‘Web Site’. He has translated Camus’ novel ‘The Outsider’ and four plays of Harold Pinter into Odia.
He has published his poems and papers in journals in the country and abroad including European Connections, NOCL (USA), Indian Literature, Kavya Bharati, Indian Journal of English Studies, Dibrugarh Journal of English Studies, Atlantic Literary Review, Rock Pebbles, Indian Age, e-journals like Museindia, and the major journals of Odisha.
He has been felicitated by several literary institutions of Odisha.
He has lectured as a guest speaker and resource person in many universities including the University of Jean Moulin, Lyon, in France. Author of sixteen books, Dr. Misra has recently edited an anthology named Resonance: English Poetry from Poets of Odisha, which has been published by Authors Press, Delhi.
He is a retired Associate Professor and former Head of the Department of English at BJB Autonomous College in Bhubansewar, Odisha.
